How to create a button and submit it to the Button engine.

At first: not every button that will submitted to The buttonengine, will appear on the internetsite.
Just buttons that are of good quality, and that are unique, will appear.
So please just send buttons that you made by your self and that do not conflict with any copyright!
Don't send buttons you downloaded from other Internetsites!

Ok so before you can create a Button that functions with the buttonengine, you have to know how it works.

Every button is divided in 3 parts. The left ,the middle and the right.
-- --

The buttonengine just resizes the middle part (to fit it to the text).
The side parts are not transformed. So after the mid part is transformed, the side parts are just glued with it.
The problem is: If there, for example, is a circle in the middle of a button, and the text is short,
it will appear as an oval. This normally ruins the whole button. So it is useful to use a quite plain part in the middle.
For the sites there are no specific rules. You can create them like you want to.

To make the button you created useable for the buttonengine there are a view things to mention.

1. orientate the size at the buttons that are already features by the Buttonengine.
2. Anti-alias there edges for white, black, and a 50% grey. (so then you have three buttons)
3. Convert them into a GIF format.(use as view colors as possible)
4. Cut the Buttons, so that you get three parts out of everyone of them. (now you have 9 pieces of buttons)
5. Define the background colours as transparent. (in every part)

Paint shop pro is a graphical program, that featured all the needed tools. (30 day demo)

So now you are ready. Zip the tools and send them to the buttonmaster
